Fenix Simulations has unveiled an ambitious 2025 roadmap that promises to elevate the Airbus experience in Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS). From the introduction of the A320neo and A321neo to significant upgrades for existing aircraft, Fenix is set to deliver a year full of enhancements for flight sim enthusiasts.

✈️ Introducing the A320neo and A321neo

Fenix is developing standalone versions of the A320neo and A321neo, featuring a completely rebuilt ECAM system tailored to the NEO series. This isn’t a mere update; it’s a comprehensive overhaul that includes new oxygen, fuel, pressurization, electrical, and bleed systems. Both CFM LEAP and Pratt & Whitney GTF engines will be available, offering simmers a choice between two modern powerplants.

🔧 Big Fenix Update (BFU) for the A320ceo Family

The upcoming BFU brings substantial enhancements to the existing A320ceo lineup:

  • A319 Sharklets: Introducing the A319 with Sharklets, featuring both CFM and IAE engines.
  • Flight Dynamics: Reworked landing behavior, including improved flare and ground effect modeling.
  • Electronic Flight Bag (EFB): Integration of Lido charts, revamped V-Speed calculations, and support for custom PDFs.
  • Weather Radar: Addition of a functional weather radar system.
  • Sound Enhancements: Updated sound sets for a more immersive cockpit experience.
  • MSFS 2024 Compatibility: Ensuring seamless integration with the latest version of MSFS.

🆕 Modernized A320ceo for Dual Owners

For simmers who own both the ceo and neo versions, Fenix is offering a modernized A320ceo that incorporates the new ECAM and other system upgrades from the neo series. This hybrid model aims to provide a contemporary experience while retaining the characteristics of the ceo.

🎮 Enhanced MSFS 2024 Integration

Fenix is optimizing its aircraft for MSFS 2024, including:

  • Walkaround Mode: Interactive external panels, such as fuel and cargo doors.
  • Performance Improvements: Utilization of the modular sim object system for better performance.

With these developments, Fenix Simulations is poised to deliver a transformative year for Airbus enthusiasts in MSFS. Whether you’re eager to pilot the latest neo variants or experience the enhanced ceo models, 2025 is shaping up to be an exciting year for virtual aviators.
